SCM Data Administrator

Job Description

Brakes are currently recruiting for an SCM Data Administrator to join the team in Ashford, on a Full Time Permanent basis.

In this role you will support the setup, maintenance, and day‑to‑day management of product, depot, and vendor data within the supply chain. You will ensure new product information and network updates are completed accurately and on time, helping to support new customer activity, menu changes, and smooth operational processes. As an SCM Data Administrator, you will play an important part in keeping our systems up to date, consistent, and reliable, working closely with colleagues to ensure everything runs efficiently.

This role offers flexible hybrid working with 1–2 days based in our Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be within a commutable distance. Please note that the first 2–3 weeks will be on-site.

Key Accountabilities;

  • Carry out routine data checks and validation of existing records, updating information where required.
  • Complete bulk updates to product and material data following agreed procedures.
  • Enter and maintain new product information in ERP systems.
  • Manage the new SKU setup process, ensuring all required details are captured accurately.
  • Build positive working relationships across internal teams to support smooth data workflows.
  • Contribute to improving day‑to‑day processes and helping resolve recurring data issues.
  • Assist in developing simple tools and checks to help identify and correct data inaccuracies.

You;

Essential to your success is experience in an administrative or data‑focused role, ideally within a supply chain or operational environment. You take a logical and organised approach to your work, with the ability to understand data processes and follow established procedures accurately. Strong organisation and time‑management skills help you stay on top of a busy workload and meet deadlines.

You are people‑oriented, a supportive team player, and comfortable working collaboratively. Competency in Excel is required, and experience with SAP or Microsoft D365 would be beneficial but not essential. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy are key to your success. You are adaptable, reliable, and motivated to help keep our supply chain data running smoothly.

What you'll get:
