Salary: up to £49,249 DOE plus a great range of benefits

Shift detail: Working Monday to Friday, working hours will be flexible to meet the requirements of the role

Join us as a Health and Safety Manager and help us take care of the best team in the business. with Brakes (a Sysco GB Company). 

A satisfying role

Put simply, you‘ll make sure our people work in safe and positive environments throughout their careers with us. Working with the central Health and Safety and colleagues across the site, you’ll embed new initiatives and training programmes in areas ranging from induction, Health and Safety to compliance and ongoing skills cross-training. You’ll also analyse monthly data to identify areas of improvement and develop tailored training plans in response.

What you bring to the mix

A natural communicator with a genuine passion for Health & Safety, you’ve got what it takes to thrive at Sysco:

  • experience in working with managers on risk assessments, accident investigations and reports
  • a NEBOSH certificate or an NVQ Level 3
  • knowledge of H&S policies and ISO45001 compliance
  • the ability to work positively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams
  • experience in planning and delivering training
  • a valid, full UK driving licence.
