We are excited to be growing our team with a new Stock Controller at our Tamworth Depot. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and develop their warehouse stock knowledge. You will be working across multiple departments, both in the warehouse and in the office to support achieving business targets.
You’ll be responsible for making sure that full stock counts in the warehouse are completed daily capturing information accurately onto Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and our inhouse SAP system to produce reports. As a Stock Controller, you will work closely with wider teams across the Depot to ensure that we avoid any shortages of goods to our customers. We will rely upon you to investigate discrepancies into major stock variances as part of quality control and waste management. This is a busy role, and no 2 days will be the same!
We are keen to welcome Stock Controllers that are MHE trained, however we can provide training where needed. You will need to be computer literate as a large proportion of the role requires you to working on spreadsheets and data capture for KPI reporting so you must be accurate - having previous working knowledge of both SAP and Microsoft Excel would be advantageous. As well as basic numeracy and literacy, you’ll need strong attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure. We will need you to adapt to new systems and procedures easily with a reliable and flexible “Can do” attitude.
This is a great role that offers the opportunity for progression within a large organisation. In addition to a competitive monthly salary, 31 days annual leave (inc. statutory) and company pension, you can also look forward to the following benefits:
