If you are as ambitious as we are and you’re looking to progress a career in warehouse operations, join us on the night shift as a Warehouse Team Manager on a fixed term basis at our Brakes Depot in Harlow until October. You’ll be responsible for ensuring your team of warehouse operatives are working safely and efficiently, and that key targets are being achieved
A satisfying role
You will lead by example and drive high performance through great communication, teamwork and building strong working relationships. You will work closely with the shift manager to plan workload and resource effectively, as well as developing the skills of your team members to support their career aspirations and increase shift capability. There’s paperwork and administration to complete as part of this role, so you’ll need an eye for detail and have the ability to work accurately and in a timely manner.
What you bring to the mix
You will enjoy working in a busy role which requires you to think on your feet and pro-actively problem solve - dealing with operational challenges as they arise, escalating to more senior managers if necessary. You will want to make a difference and proactively look for ways to make improvements and challenge current ways of working.
To join us as a Warehouse Team Manager you will have previous experience of leading a team in a fast paced, time pressured environment. Experience within a warehouse operation would be advantageous but is not essential. What’s key is your ability and desire to learn - understanding the business and operation quickly.
